RANTER. WRITER. PROPHET.

Let us just mention that I've logged countless caffeine-driven hours spent playing Diablo. From this, I've gotten hooked on writing and storytelling. Authorship of the Seventh Age series (a post-apocalyptic sarcastic urban fantasy), freelance writer, and blogger has now replaced my hours slaying digital demons. My work also features tabletop roleplaying games such as The Crow: Prayers of the Past, Storytellers Forge Studios, Dungeons & Dragons (such as The Red Opera: Last Days of the Warlock and Sirens: Battle of the Bards), Dread, and other TTRPG’s. Often, you can find me in person running panels like How to (Not) Suck at Storytelling at conventions and other guest speaking on writing, gaming, cyberpunk, and more! Reach out and contact me at RickHeinzWrites@gmail.com if you have a question or are interested in having me attend your convention!

Rick Heinz is the product of an amazing imagination and far too many hours playing avoiding spiders. In addition to writing novels he is also a leading contributor for the award winning web magazine Geek & Sundry and Nerdist on both gaming and storytelling. He is often a featured quest on pop culture events across the country for his work in teaching storytelling to kids through gaming and RPGs.
